About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Empower Biz Co-Working Hub provides a professional Leicester base for African heritage businesses, start-ups and growing enterprises. Located within the African Caribbean Centre, it offers furnished co-working space with options intended for businesses of different sizes, alongside short- and long-term workspace terms. The setting is designed to support creativity, collaboration and productivity rather than simply provide a desk. You can work with free Wi-Fi, high-speed internet, modern furnishings and air-conditioned surroundings. Bookable meeting rooms offer a practical setting for client conversations, team discussions and collaborative work, while the hub promotes networking with other businesses and professionals. Its position within walking distance of Leicester city centre and the railway station, with local bus links serving the centre, makes it a convenient choice for members and visitors. An onsite cafeteria serving home-cooked Caribbean cuisine gives the workspace a distinctive community feel and adds an easy place to take a break or meet informally. The wider centre also provides a lively setting for community activity, while the business-hub arrangements include printing services. Parking is available at the centre, subject to the venue's own arrangements. Empower Biz sits within a broader support programme focused on African heritage businesses. Alongside workspace, the programme offers one-to-one business support, expert mentoring, practical training and guidance on funding and finance, with networking and learning activity delivered through its partnership. Whether you are building a new venture, seeking a more professional base or looking to connect with other entrepreneurs, the hub combines practical facilities with culturally aware business support.
