About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Farset Labs is a community-funded, volunteer-operated makerspace and creative technology hub in Belfast, welcoming people from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels. It provides an open setting for technological tinkering, practical learning, creative projects and community-led activity. Members can use shared coworking and project areas alongside communal resources for electronics, computing, fabrication, making and craft. The facilities include workshop equipment such as 3D printers, a laser cutter, a desktop CNC router, soldering equipment, hand tools and electronic components, giving makers room to explore ideas in a hands-on way. The space also supports meetings, workshops, training sessions and private events. Its event facilities include presentation and audio equipment, while the meeting room offers a screen, whiteboard and conferencing equipment. User groups focused on technical or crafty subjects can also make use of the venue through the organisation’s community-led programme. Farset Labs has a friendly, collaborative character, combining coworking with a workshop, event space, kitchen and lounge. It is suited to freelancers, students, professionals, artists, hobbyists, community groups and anyone keen to learn, build, share ideas or meet others within Belfast’s maker and technology community.
