About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
FLUX Studios is a grassroots cultural organisation supporting artists, creative communities and public culture in Dublin. Its work combines affordable studio provision with opportunities for artists and makers to develop their practice, connect with others and share their work with the wider community. The organisation provides artist studios and workspace alongside classroom and project spaces for rehearsals, meetings and workshops. Its creative community includes visual artists, designers, photographers, filmmakers, performers, musicians, writers, curators, makers and community groups, creating an environment centred on experimentation, collaboration and cultural exchange. FLUX also runs weekly creative workshops and short courses, covering activities such as life drawing, painting, stained glass and signwriting. These programmes welcome both practising creatives and people looking to build new skills in an encouraging studio setting. Public-facing activity is an important part of the organisation’s programme, with exhibitions, gallery projects, cultural events, festivals and educational initiatives taking place across its Dublin locations. Visitors can discover emerging work, attend practical workshops or enjoy a varied programme shaped by local artists and community partners. With its artist-led ethos and strong emphasis on accessible cultural participation, FLUX offers a lively setting for creative practitioners, community organisations, workshop participants and audiences interested in contemporary culture in Dublin.
