About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Grange Court is a community-owned heritage and enterprise hub in Leominster, centred on a Grade II* listed timber-framed market hall built by John Abel in 1633. Owned by LARC Development Trust, it brings together historic interpretation with practical spaces for people to meet, work, learn and enjoy. The setting retains a strong connection with the town’s story while supporting present-day community use. Visitors can explore displays, interpretation boards, objects and artefacts, including the Leominster in Stitches embroideries. The on-site café adds a relaxed place to pause, with hot and cold food, daily specials, soup, cakes, speciality teas and coffees, plus plant-based and gluten-free choices. Food is prepared on site, children have a play area, and dogs are welcome in the café area. For businesses, office users, community groups and event organisers, Grange Court offers office rental, hot desks, hot offices, meeting rooms and larger function spaces. The John Abel Room and Mayor’s Parlour support meetings, conferences, presentations, concerts, celebrations and weddings, with the gardens and walled garden providing an attractive setting for photographs and gatherings. Wedding services include civil ceremonies, receptions, catering and a licensed bar. The venue also supports learning for all ages and abilities, with school visits, guided tours and community activities. Lift access, ramps, a wet room, mobility equipment and family facilities help make visits more accessible, while the surrounding heritage, café and programme of events give local people and visitors plenty of reasons to spend time here.
