About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Make North Docks is a creative co-working and makerspace in Liverpool’s Ten Streets area, bringing together private studios, shared workspaces and practical facilities for making, learning and collaboration. Operated by Make CIC, a Liverpool-founded social enterprise, it offers a welcoming base for artists, makers, freelancers, small businesses and hobbyists. The three-floor venue combines studio space with an open-access workshop and a dedicated wood workshop equipped with a broad range of tools, including bandsaws, jigsaws, sanders and router tables. Residents can work independently, develop new skills and take part in classes and workshops, with inductions helping people use the equipment safely and confidently. Alongside its making facilities, Make North Docks provides high-speed internet, a communal kitchen, printing and scanning, community events and opportunities to connect with other creative residents. Caffe Riccardo adds an inviting café presence, while the River Mersey outlook and industrial setting give the space a distinctive character. The venue also welcomes wider groups through flexible meeting, workshop and event spaces. These areas can support gatherings such as meetings, exhibitions, performances, screenings and larger creative projects, often surrounded by the energy of the resident maker community. With wheelchair-accessible spaces, nearby public transport and 24-hour access for residents, it suits people looking for a flexible, sociable and hands-on place to work, create and grow.
