About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Moseley Community Hub provides flexible workspace and versatile event space in Balsall Heath, Birmingham. Set within a beautifully restored former School of Art, it brings together a collaborative working community with facilities for independent businesses, creative practitioners and local organisations. Workspace options include co-working, hot desks, private offices and studio workshops. The co-working space is aimed at freelancers, small creative businesses and remote workers, while the offices suit emerging and established independent creative enterprises. Artists, artisans, designers and makers can use the studio workshops, with shared access to a kitchen and lounge, as well as meeting pods and event spaces. For meetings, training and larger gatherings, the venue includes the Assembly Hall, Drawing Rooms, Gallery and Meeting Pods. The spaces can host informal meetings, boardroom-style sessions, conferences, workshops, classes, exhibitions, public events and private celebrations, creating a flexible setting for both professional and community use. The building combines high ceilings, natural light and Arts and Crafts character with modern event facilities, Wi-Fi and a basic kitchen facility on request. Community is central to the hub’s purpose. The restored building continues the legacy of the former School of Art as a place for creativity, learning and connection, while its spaces are designed to encourage participation across different communities. Visitors and organisers can also benefit from a lift, disabled access and toilet facilities, on-site car parking, and a bus stop immediately outside, making the venue practical as well as distinctive.
