About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Perth Creative Exchange is a creative hub operated by Wasps, bringing together artists, makers, designers, creative businesses, cultural social enterprises and the wider public. The former school building has been transformed into a lively centre for creative work, collaboration and cultural activity. The building offers artist studios, creative workspaces, offices and fixed desks, alongside meeting rooms and facilities for creative businesses. It is also home to the Perth Ideas Centre and a Creative Business Incubation Space, supporting people developing new skills, products and enterprises. Visitors can discover exhibitions and events in the Gannochy Project Space, while the Forteviot Workshop Space accommodates workshops and life drawing classes. Community facilities include a photography darkroom and kiln room, giving regional artists and local participants opportunities to explore photography, ceramics and glass. With working studios and a varied programme of markets, open studios, exhibitions and demonstrations, Perth Creative Exchange offers an engaging way to meet makers and see creative practices in progress. It is suited to artists and designers seeking workspace, creative professionals and small enterprises, workshop participants, and members of the public interested in contemporary art, craft and local creative talent.
