About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
POP shop is a work and collaboration space in Dunoon for people developing greener, cultural and value-led enterprises. It combines coworking with practical enterprise support, creating a place where freelancers, small businesses and social enterprises can work, connect and develop ideas. The workspace includes fixed and hot desks, a printer, kitchen, small meeting area and a shop window that members can use to promote their work. Membership is aimed particularly at freelancers, small enterprises and social enterprises, including people working from home or building businesses around care responsibilities. Beyond desk space, POP shop offers a large covered garage for practical workshops and events, an outdoor gallery for showcasing work and research, and a walled community garden. These facilities give the space a creative, hands-on character and support activities linked to sustainability, local enterprise and community development. POP shop is also home to Dunoon Goes POP, a social enterprise inspired by Dunoon’s soft-drinks heritage. Through drinks experiences, workshops, gardening and heritage storytelling, visitors can explore how people, plants and place connect. The result is a distinctive community-focused venue suited to independent workers, socially minded organisations, makers, learners and anyone interested in greener local enterprise.
