About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
The Auction Rooms is a premium, hospitality-led workspace in Edinburgh’s New Town, bringing together serviced offices, owned and open desks, hourly hot desking, virtual office packages and professionally equipped meeting rooms. Its flexible model is designed to suit freelancers, start-ups, growing companies and established businesses, whether they need a permanent base, a practical place to meet clients or an occasional change of scene. Private offices provide a secure, focused setting for individuals and teams, while owned desks add personal storage and a sense of permanence within a shared community. Open coworking areas offer a more collaborative rhythm, and meeting spaces range from intimate rooms for small conversations to a boardroom for larger presentations and strategic sessions. Virtual office packages add a professional business presence with mail handling and access to workspace benefits. Blending Georgian character with contemporary design, the venue offers a calm, polished atmosphere rather than a conventional office feel. High-speed connectivity, video-conferencing technology, quiet areas, call-pod access and dedicated support help people work productively, while the members’ lounge, breakout areas, kitchenettes and complimentary refreshments make it easy to settle in and stay comfortable. Practical wellbeing and travel-friendly touches include showers and changing facilities, secure cycle storage, lockers, lift access to every floor and EV charging, with parking available by arrangement. Members can also enjoy community events, networking opportunities, local perks and access to shared spaces designed for both focus and connection. It is a thoughtful choice for anyone looking for a refined, flexible working environment with the service and atmosphere of a well-run hospitality venue.
