About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
The Coach House Workspace is a small, thoughtfully curated working environment for independent professionals in Penarth. Set within a converted coach house, it offers a quieter alternative to larger coworking spaces, with just eight desks arranged across two floors. Members have access to a calm, focused setting designed for people who want to move beyond working from home or cafés without the noise and distraction often associated with busy shared offices. Desks are allocated consistently rather than used for hot-desking, helping create a settled and familiar place to work. Facilities include reliable Wi-Fi, a desk and comfortable chair, a shared kitchen with practical everyday amenities, and a curtained meeting or breakout area seating up to four people. The open-plan studio is suitable for independent professionals such as designers, writers, consultants and small business owners, while visitors and clients can be accommodated in the meeting area. Membership options include part-time and full-time arrangements, with the latter providing a dedicated desk and space for personal working items. The community is intentionally small and informal: members can enjoy friendly conversation and occasional get-togethers, while there is no pressure to network or collaborate. Quiet, well-behaved dogs are welcome, adding to the relaxed and homely character of the space.
