About this space
A place to settle in and get things done.
Tideswell Studio combines a welcoming co-working environment with a ground-floor art gallery in Tideswell, creating a distinctive setting for focused work and creative inspiration. The workspace occupies the two upper floors and is intended for homeworkers, freelancers and anyone looking for a professional place to work near home. Desk hire is arranged month to month, with access available on selected days each week. Comfortable desks and seating, Wi-Fi and a breakout or meeting area support both individual concentration and informal collaboration. Downstairs, the gallery presents changing exhibitions of two- and three-dimensional work by local and visiting artists. The space is also available for artists hiring a venue for weekend shows, with occasional guest-artist pop-ups adding variety to the programme. When the gallery is not in use, its breakout and meeting area can provide an inspiring change of scene for workspace users. With its recently renovated interiors, modern heating, considered lighting and friendly professional atmosphere, Tideswell Studio offers a calm alternative to working from home. It will appeal particularly to independent professionals, remote workers, creatives and visitors seeking a practical workspace in the Peak District, while artists can enquire about staging exhibitions in a characterful village gallery.
